T n = 7 4 n T n + 1 = 7 4 ( n + 1 ) = 3 4 n d = T n + 1 T n = ( 3 4 n ) ( 7 4 n ) = 4 T_n = 7 - 4n \\ T_{n+1} = 7 - 4(n+1) = 3 - 4n \\ \therefore d = T_{n+1} - T_n = (3-4n) - (7-4n) = \boxed{-4}

tn=a+(n-1)d 7-4n=a+(n-1)d...........(1) Since nth term is 7-4n,for first term put n=1. hence a=3..........(2) Solving we get d=-4
