The value of quantifier "no" is 0, so v n o = 0 v_{no} = 0 . We also have that the number of coins is "no", so n c o i n s = v n o n_{coins} = v_{no} . Finally, through an application of the transitive property of equality, we have that n c o i n s = 0 n_{coins} = \boxed{0} . \blacksquare

No, no, no.... This was all a trick. It was never zero in the first place. He claims that he has no coins. However, it is a word play. No can be "Noh", which is a Japanese culture. It could be Noh coins; he may have some or he may not. It isn't clear. Thus the answer is undetermined.
