There was some water in a rectangular container measuring 25 centimeters by 20 centimeters. Jason poured some of the water into cups and the water level fell by 2 centimeters. If he poured 100 millimeters of water into each cup, how many cups did he use? (1liter = 100 centimeters)

So, let’s assume the 2 centimeters is our height. Then you just do 25 times 20 times 2 which equals 1000. This means he have 1000 centimeters cubed divided by 100. This equals 10 cups!

The problem said 100 mm per cup. it should have said milliliter. 1000 cubic centimeters is indeed 10cups of 100 milliliter but it is 1000000 cubic millimeters
