The word " hot concentrated " is important. If it was dilute or cold then no reaction would have taken place.The required reaction is as follows:

C u + 2 H 2 S O 4 C u S O 4 + S O 2 + 2 H 2 O \Large Cu \ + \ 2H_2SO_4 \ \longrightarrow CuSO_4 + SO_2 + 2H_2O

Thus number of products = 3 = \boxed{3}

It is the product that form,not reactant...
