You can see that $189.8 is approximately equal to $190. Multiplying $190 by 7 gives you $1330. $1330 is approximately equal to $1300. So $1300 is correct answer.

Yeah exactly how I done it💯💯

Not gonna lie. I honestly rounded $189.8 up to $200 to simplify my calculation. That's when I realized that I could simplify $200 even further, due to the fact it's a multiple choice question and all. After that I was pretty much left with 7 × 2 = 14, which is really $1400. Then I rounded $1400 down to $1300. I just learned about estimation today. So don't judge me haha. Hope this helps🙃

Great dude !!

A quick solution for this is - 189.8 ・7. 189.8 as the cost of the blazers, 7 as the number of blazers to be bought.

The equation above gives 1328.6 as its product. Thus, the best approximation is $1300.

You are not estimating.
