A man gets 3 boxes. 1 contains a diamond while the others have poison. Each of the boxes have something written on them, but only two of boxes have something true written on it. The first box says the second box has a diamond in it. The second box says it has poison, while the third box says it has the diamond. which one has the diamond?

if the first box has the diamond, it and the third box are both lying. that cannot be true. if the second box has the diamond, it and the third box are both lying. But, if the third box has the diamond, then only the first box is lying and the other 2 are telling the truth.

In short, the first two statements contradict each other, therefore one of them is false, therefore the third statement is true.
