A triangle and a parallelogram have the same base and same area. If the sides of the triangle are 26 cm , 28 cm , and 30 cm.And the parallelogram stands on the base 28 cm. Find the height of parallelogram.(find ans in cm)

Using the clue provided in the title of problem: Through heron's formula we can find that the area is 336cm^2. Note that the area of parallelogram is base times height. Since they have equal bases of 28cm. We can divide 336cm^2 by 28cm. Finally, we can get 12 as its height's length.
