Do not solve this unless you solved The Island of Truth 1. You are back at your homeland and you visit your friend. You forgot whether he was a truth-teller or a liar(he could have been from the Island of Lies and migrated here). You saw one of his other friends there. You can ask two questions, but you are not allowed to hear the answer to the first question. You know that his other friend lives in the Island of Truth or in the Island of Lies. In two questions, you might determine if your friend is a truth-teller or a liar. To whom should you ask the first question?

Ask in the first question “Are you a truth-teller?” Then ask “What did he/you say?” If he said yes, he is a Truth-teller, otherwise, he is a liar.
