No. of words starting with A is 3! The next word starting with L is LAST. Hence 3!+1=7. LAST is alphabetically smallest word starting with L in the given series.

With A we can have 6 combinations 1. ALST 2. ALTS 3. ASLT 4. ASTL 5. ATLS 6. ATSL

Next comes up passwords starting with L The first arrangement is: LAST, so it is number 7

The mathematical way to solve this is to take "A" first, the other three remaining are L, S, and T, therefore we'll do 3! (factorial) from which we'll get 6 and the next is "LAST" which is number 7.
