The Living Being Kingdoms

Logic Level 3

On the 60's, Herbert Copeland proposed a 4 kingdom's classification for all living things: Monera, Protista, Metaphyta and Metazoa. On 1969, Robert H. Whitaker suggested a new classification, which, after contributions of Lynn Margulis, Carl Woese and Peter Raven, comprehend the following kingdoms: Monera, Protista, Fungi, Plantæ and Animalia. On Copeland classification, consider A {A} as the set of Monera, B {B} the set of Protista, C {C} of Metaphyta and D {D} of Metazoa living beings. Denoting by F {\textit{F}} the set of all Fungi living beings, according to Whitaker's classification, in relation to the kingdoms of Copeland classification, we have that:

F ( B C ) {F}\subset(\large{B}\cap\large{C}) F C {F}\subset\large{C} F ( A D ) {F}\subset(\large{A}\cup\large{D}) F B {F}\subset\large{B} F ( C D ) {F}\subset(\large{C}\cap\large{D})
