1 solution

In one day and one night, he climbs up 3 2 = 1 3-2=1 meter. It follows that in twenty seven days and twenty seven nights, he climbs up 1 × 27 = 27 1 \times 27=27 meters. The next day, he climbs up 3 3 meters making a total of 30 30 meters in 28 28 days.
