The Relation

A body starts from rest and acquires a velocity V V in time T T . The work done on the body in time t is proportional to:

V t T \dfrac{Vt}T V 2 × t T 2 \dfrac{V^2\times t}{T^2} V 2 × t 2 T \dfrac{V^2\times t^2}{T} V 2 × t 2 T 2 \dfrac{V^2\times t^2}{T^2}

acceleration of body, a=V/T velocity acquired in time t, v=at=V.t/T kinetic energy is directly prop. to V^2 hence, work done ids d.p. to V^2.t^2/T^2
