The Spelling Paradox

Logic Level 3

If one person has an overwhelming inability to spell, should they be corrected?

As long as they get the right 'your' they'll be fine! Yeah duh! Let them live Noooo

Not really that big of a concern in todays society to be honest with you. P.S. This is just a random problem for a laugh because I could solve a grand total of 1 question today (I know, I know, I'm basically Einstein now). Please enjoy

There are only two arguments I've heard for this:

  • Technology replaces the need to learn to spell.
  • Modern society doesn't care about spelling mistakes.

Even though I disagree with it, the former can lead to an interesting discussion.

The latter is completely absurd (try giving a spelling-error-ridden presentation to potential business clients, and see how it works out).
