A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?

the third room will be the most safe room for the murderer as the lions would have been died because they hadn't eaten for 3 years

The lions could be on IV support. Lions could stay alive without eating on IV support. :)

What if the lions were actually cannibals that knew how to conserve their bodies so they were eating each other so there's still a few lions left? ;)

Grrrr....too early in the morning! I read it as three 'DAYS'! So I went for the assassins cuz they might've killed one another before the dude enters the room.

A room full of lions that haven't eaten for 3 years would be a room full of dead lions. While the fumes may nauseate him, he would stand a better chance of surviving.

The first two rooms are quite dangerous (self-explanatory). However, "lions that haven't eaten in 3 years" would not impose any threat since after going so long without eating, those lions would have been long gone. The third room is safest for him.

Well, The third room will be the safest for him as Lions which haven't eaten for 3 years would have starved to death.

Hence He should choose the third room.(If he is clever enough XD)
