The Three Scholars and kidnapped friend

Logic Level 3

Your best friend is kidnapped and you want to know where he is and save him, the only way to learn where he is is the famous three scholars when you go to them,

The First Scholar(Ben) said: Your friend is going to the cave in the Neverest Waterfall.

The Second Scholar(Adam) said: He is going to Konstantinopolis.

The Third Scholar(Fred) said: He is going to be sold as a slave tomorrow in the center of the city.

The Guard says that every time a different one tells the truth. So you know that;

Every time a different one tells the truth and other two lies.

Then you ask again "Who told the truth?"

Ben: Fred lied.

Adam: Ben didn't tell the truth.

Fred: Adam didn't lie.

Who said the truth first time you asked the question?

There is no answer Ben Fred Adam

There is no opportunity that Ben told the truth because if he did now he must be lying and if he is lying Fred told the truth but we said Ben already told the truth so Ben didn't tell the truth If Adam told the truth he must lie now so Ben didn't tell the truth, correct so now Ben can tell the truth but if he does which means Fred lied, everything is going perfectly right now but now Fred needs to lie if he does it means Adam didn't tell the truth but if Fred is telling the truth and Ben is lying it means that Fred told the truth so Adam didn't tell the truth either there is only Fred left if he told the truth now he needs to lie he said"Adam didn't lie" but if he is lying right now it means that Adam lied. Correct, so now Ben or Adam is telling the truth if Ben is(Which is impossible because he said Fred Lied but he did not) so Adam is telling the truth right now and he said: "Ben didn't tell the truth" which is correct.

So Adam is telling the truth of the second question and Fred told the true answer to the first question but we asked "who said the truth to the first question"

So the answer is FRED

The first statements are irrelevant to solving the problem.

Ben: "Fred lied"
Adam: "Ben lied"
Fred: "Adam told the truth"

Case 1 : True False False.

If this is the case, Ben told the truth in the first question; however, this cannot be so since Ben is also telling the truth in the second statement and the guard said that every time a different one tells the truth.

Case 2 : False True False.

If this is the case, Fred told the truth in the first question.

Case 3 : False False True.

This case cannot be true since it results in two people being truthful in the first question.

So Case 2 is the only logical answer, and therefore, the correct one!!!!
