The side lengths are multiples of 29. 29. In fact, 87 = 3 × 29 87 = 3\times 29 and 116 = 4 × 29. 116 = 4\times 29. So this triangle is a multiple of the famous 3 4 5 3-4-5 triangle and the hypotenuse is 5 × 29 = 145 5\times 29 = 145

Hey yo,

As c = hypotenuse, b = 1st leg , a = 2nd leg,

c^2 = a ^ 2 + b^2 , applying phythagoras theorem...

To simplify the calculations, 29 29 is a factor of both 87 87 and 116 116 .

Using pythagoras' theorem, hypotenuse = 87 2 + 116 2 = 21025 = 145 \sqrt{{87}^2 + {116}^2} = \sqrt{21025} = \color{#69047E}{\boxed{145}} .

Anyone can solve it. But it matters in how much time you soved it⏰
