Since the answer is even , and we are given only odd numbers and odd places , thus we are confirmed that only 4 places can be filled with those odd numbers , now for an even number the only possible path left for us is factorial notation therefore 3 + 5 + 7 + 9 + 3!

3+5+7+9+3=27 not 30
