The truthful guard
A certain world has 3 types of people :- tribels , who always tell the truth ; libels who always lie , and trilibels who can do either. Each of them have separate kingdoms , and you want to go to the land where the tridels dwell. You meet 3 guards on the outskirts of the world , one tribel , one libel , and one trilibel. The first guard says , " I am a libel ". The second one says , " I am a trilibel " . The third guard doesn't say anything. Which guard is a tribel ?

It is impossible for a tribel or a libel to say that they are a libel. Therfore only possibility for the first guard is a trilibel , because he says that he is a libel. So , the 2nd guard said a lie which means that he is a libel. Therefore , the 3rd guard is the tribel
