You are on an island where the natives either always tell the truth or always lie.
You encounter a scowling native in the jungle one day.
"Are you a truth-teller or a liar?" you inquire.
"I refuse to tell you!" he snarls, and stalks away. You never encounter this native again.

He said he refused to tell you, and sure enough, he DID refuse! So he was telling the truth.
(And in his defense, that was a very rude question to ask.)
