In a island,there are two types of people: A knight and a knave. You meet two native islanders there. One is named Clancy and the other is named Dec. You do not know what type either of them are.

Here are two statements

Clancy: , “We are both Knights”.

Dec: “Either Clancy is a Knight or I am a Knight, but we are not both Knights.”

Is it possible to determine what Dec is?

Clancy has to be a knave; otherwise, Dec's statement will not be consistent with what he is.

But, even though Clancy is a knave, Dec could still be a knave or a knight!

So the answer is "no."
