Thermocol vs steel plate

A disposable thermocol plate and a steel plate of equal size are lying on the same table in a room for a long time. Then an identical ice cube is placed on each plate. Which ice cube will melt faster?

The one on the thermocol plate The one on the steel plate Both will take the same time to melt

Steel is a better heat conductor than the thermocol. When ice cubes are placed in the plates, the plates give their energy to the ice cubes for melting. Steel being a better conductor provides energy at a faster rate and hence the ice cube will melt faster on the steel plate.
