Thin lens formula 2

The above diagram shows a biconcave lens which has two focal points F 1 F_1 and F 2 F_2 . The green object on the left of the lens is moving towards the lens at a constant speed of v v , and the beam A is travelling parallel to the lens axis. Which of the following statements is correct?

a) The beam A refracts towards the focal point F 2 F_2 .
b) The image of the object is placed on the left of the lens.
c) The location of the image gets closer to the lens as the object gets closer to the lens.

b) and c) a) only a) and b) b) only

option B is correct as the object is on the left side the image also generated on the left side. And by using the formula by reducing the distance of the object the distance of the image also gets reduced.the lens formula is 1/object + 1/image = 1/f

By using lens formula it is clear that image is on left.also as u decreases f/u increases and hence from lens eqn v decreases .(math can't be shown by fonts)
