Logic Level 1

If the average of three number is 50 and the following conditions hold, then how many of the numbers are equal to 50?

  1. None of the three numbers is less than 50.

  2. None of the three numbers is greater than 50.


The answer is 3.

1.none of the three numbers is less than 50.--so, each number must be 50. otherwise it will cross 50.

2.none of the three numbers is greater than 50.--so,each number must be 50. otherwise it will be less than 50.
