Soybean was a nitrogen fixing crop melvin would distroy crop this time also. next crop does not need nitrogen for growth ammonia cannot be used in soil previously occupied by soyabeans

Soybean is a leguminous plant. So, use of ammonia nullifies the effect. Since another crop is placed the next time, it may lead to excessive degradation of soil.
