The formula for this problem is a b × c = ( a + b ) × c \displaystyle \frac { a } { b } \times c = ( a + b ) \times c .

Then, 5 5 × 2 = 10 × 2 = 20 \displaystyle \frac { 5 } { 5 } \times 2 = 10 \times 2 = 20 (True).

2 2 × 5 = 4 × 5 = 20 \displaystyle \frac { 2 } { 2 } \times 5 = 4 \times 5 = 20 (True).

9 1 × 3 = 10 × 3 = 30 \displaystyle \frac { 9 } { 1 } \times 3 = 10 \times 3 = 30 (True).

Then, 10 10 × 2 = 20 × 2 = 40 \displaystyle \frac { 10 } { 10 } \times 2 = 20 \times 2 = \boxed { 40 } .

Add Numerator and Denominator of fraction and Multiply by the number given.
( 10 + 10 ) × 2 = 20 × 2 = 40. (10+10)×2=20×2=40.

thats not thinking logically, its thinking creative. To think logically is to follow the rules, here you have to change them and give them a new meaning.
