1 solution

Min of r= min of x/ max of y , hence 3/7 = 0.42

Why is it that 3/7 is not accepted when typed when in fact that is the exact answer. 0.42 is wrong because 3/7 is approximately 0.42857....so when it rounds off to two decimal places it is 0.43..

You must put in the problem that "Give your answer to 2 decimal places" or something like that. Nevertheless, your answer is still wrong(if the answer is restricted to two decimal places) because 3/7 = 0.428571... which rounds off to 0.43.
