This is a very sad story about the death of a man named Stanley.
Once upon a time, there was a healthy man named Stanley who fell in love with a woman who had red-green color blindness .
His family all object:"Color blindness is a genetic disease!"
But he didn't care, because he believed that love could change everything.
In the end, they somehow broke through many difficulties and got married.
Several years later, the wife was pregnant. The warning of his family was still in his ear.
"Color blindness is a genetic disease!"
"Even if my child is color-blind, I would still love him." Stanley promised to his wife.
Finally, the child was born, a beautiful girl. They were very happy.
But as their daughter grew up, they went into the worst case scenario:
Their daughter also had red-green color blindness.
"Please don't leave me and our kid, you promised!" the wife cried and pleaded.
But Stanley didn't care.
Stanley, who once loved his wife, has determined to divorce her and kill himself.
Why did Stanley decide to divorce his wife and kill himself?
The following information might help you solve this problem:
The genes responsible for the most common forms of color blindness (including red-green color blindness) are on the X chromosome , and recessive .
Assuming there are no gene mutations and the chromosomes are distributed normally.

If Stanley was father of the daughter she wouldn't have color blindness. Or he must have color blindness himself.
