One squirrel takes one minute to eat one nut. Now we have 1000 squirrels and 1000 nuts. Each will still take one minute

Oh! I first thought 1000.

Assuming every squirrel starts at the same time. And if each squirrel gets one nut it will take them all one min to finish because they all eat at the same pace at the same time.

Just use (/) or what we called per (Such as Miles/Hour or Miles per Hour)

so If 1(squirrel) eat 1(nut) in 1(minute) then this is what it should be look like 1/1/1 = 1. Then applied this to the question. Simple. :)

1000 nuts and 1000 squirrel in just 1 min

1 squirrel - 1 nut - 1 minutes 1000squirrel -1000nut- ? Minutes Minutes = 1000 squirrel ÷1000 nut Minutes = 1

1 nut per minute, so 1000 nuts per 1000 minutes

The question is :If 1 squirrel can eat 1 nut in 1 minute, how many minutes does it take for 1000 squirrels to eat 1000 nuts?

as you can see there is a given: 1 squirrel = can eat 1 nut in =1 minute

Therefor: 1000 squirrels=can eat 1000 nuts in = 1minute

1:1 = 1000:1000 so it takes 1 minute

Each squirrel starts even with nuts, so it still takes 1 minute to finish the nuts.

Its simple.Each squirrel can eat 1 but in one min. Like this 1000 squirrel can eat 1000 in one time.

1 squirrel => 1 nut = 1 min

1000 squirrel => 1000 nut = 1 min
