If a ray is not thrown normally to a plane mirror, then the reflected ray can be taken in screen. The image of the light source will be formed in front of the advancing reflected ray formed in accordance with the first law of reflection. Since this image is capable of being obtained in a screen, it is a real image. So under this condition, a plane mirror can also produce a real image.
