Note that all of the statements describe different truths (if any statement is true, the rest are false), so at most one of them can be true.

If 1 statement is true, it must be B -- the statement that only 1 statement is true!

(It is impossible for no statements to be true, because then the statement A would be true.)

but then the question arise that if only 1 statement is true that is A and the correct option is B then the statement B is also true means 2 statements are true

Statement A is never true. If it were true, it would never deny its truthness by saying that there are no true statements. Therefore, we are not talking about 2 correct statements.

A) No statements are true - Cannot be possible or else itself would be true, meaning there would be one true. Cannot possibly be true.

B) Only 1 - Only itself is true, doesn't contradict itself - no contradictions it must be the answer

C) Only 2 - If this were true, then A or B would have to be true as well, contradicting itself. (If A were true then it would contradict itself and C. If B, then only one would be true contradicting C the statement that 2 are true)

D) Only 3 - Same as 2, contradicts

And so on.

Leaving only B.

A says: none is true and it didn't mean itself with the rest of the statements (with that in mind) and we know that it should be only one statement is true at most if we assume that none is right so what A says is right and if we assume that only one is right so what B says is right in the two cases the answer should be 1 statement but we don't know what is it it would be what A says or B
