sum of all the factors of 500 =(summation(2^n)from 0 to 2)(sum(5^n)from 0 to 3)=1092

prime factors of 500 are 1,2,4,5,10,20,25,50,100,125,250,500.. Their sum would be 1+2+4+5+10+20+25+50+100+125+250+500=1092

500= 2^2 . 3^3

Sum of factors= (2^0 + 2^1 + 2^2)(3^0 + 3^1 + 3^2)= 1092
