Three Friends Restaurant Visit

Can any one Solve...???

Simple question for intelligent...

3 Friends went to a restaurant..

they billed amount of Rupees 75.... -(Rupees is Indian currency)

Everybody contributed Rs.25 each.....

Manager gave discount of Rs.5....

Waiter returned Rs.1 to each one....

And waiter kept Rs.2....

So we can say each one of them contributed Rs.24.... (Rs.25 -Rs.1 = Rs.24)

So they paid Rs.24 + Rs.24 + Rs.24 = 72 rupees....

and waiter kept Rs.2....

In total

Rs.72 (they Contributed) + Rs.2 (kept by waiter) = Rs.74

Where did remaining Rs.1 gone ???

Its with Manager Its lost None of the Above Its with waiter

2 solutions

simple,the 3 friends pay for 75 rupee,and the waiter give them 3 rupee,so they have 72 rupee,and waiter have 2 ruppe.

the total money that 3 friends need to pay is 75-5=70 rupee. so,72 rupee-2 rupee=70 rupee(corect) the 2 rupee is not belong to the 3 friends,so we cant sum it :D

They All Contributed Rs.25 each... So in total Rs.75 Then they got Rs.5 discount .... So they Have to Pay Rs.70.. But waiter kept Rs.2 ... So they get Back Rs.3.. Now divide these among them... 70 / 3 = 23.33333 2 / 3 = 0.66666 3 / 3 = 1

now Add them .. 23.33333 + 0.66666 + 1 = 25 each ..... so Rs. 1 went nowhere
