Let us suppose Judy sold 'x' tickets

So, according to question, Amy sold 'x+2" tickets

again,

x+x+2=12

2x+2=12

2x=10

x=5

Tickets that Judy sold, as by my Grade 4 4 's way:

( 12 2 ) ÷ 2 = 5 (12-2)\div2=\boxed{5}

total tickets 12.

Amy sold 2 more tickets than Judy. so subtracting 2 tickets or,amongst (12-2) =10 tickets they sold the same number of tickets

so, Judy sold = 10 2 \frac {10}{2} tickets =5 tickets
