The radius of Neptune orbit is 30 times radius of earth's orbit, determine the time period of Neptune around the sun (in years).
If the time period is T, input your answer as T + 1 \lfloor T \rfloor + 1

Using the formula T^2/R^3 = constant, T(earth)=1, R(earth)=1, R(neptune)=30 \frac{T(earth)^2}{T(neptune)^2 = \frac{R(earth)^3}{R(neptune)^#} = 1 T ( n e p t u n e ) 2 \frac{1}{T(neptune)^2} 1 3 0 3 \frac{1}{30^3} T(neptune)^2=30^3 T(neptune)= sqrt (30^3)=164 T = 164 + 1 = 165
