As you can see from the graph, the maximum absorption is at about 450 nm. In other words, the predominant colour absorbed is blue. However, the colour that it appears as is actually the colour reflected. This colour should be the complementary colour of blue which is orange (on the opposite side of blue on the colour wheel below):
