Even though you might think that accepting the bet is the smartest choice as you will only lose if the person to enter the bar has three or more hands , this is not true . Since many people have lost one or both of their hands because of injury , the average isn't 2 , but a bit smaller than it . So , if you want to keep your money you shouldn't accept the bet , as the next person to enter the bar will probably have 2 hands , which is above average .
