Too many lenses

A large number of thin converging lenses each of focal length f f are placed at equal distances l l from each other so that their optical axes coincide. The distance l l is negligibly small as compared to the focal length f f .A light ray is made to incident parallel to the common optical axis on the first lens at a distance h h from the optical axis as shown in the figure.

If O O is taken to be the origin , then find the Y c o o r d i n a t e Y - coordinate of the ray when x x is equal to 3.925 c m 3.925cm .

G i v e n I n f o r m a t i o n : Given Information :

l = 0.2 c m l = 0.2cm

f = 125 c m f = 125cm

h = 10 c m h = 10cm

The answer is 7.07.
