I am a peculiar quadrilateral. If you put 3 copies of me together, then I can form an equilateral triangle. Similarly, if you put 3 copies of an equilateral triangle together, then they can form me!

A kite can't be formed by joining 3 equilateral triangles together though.

Me too, in fact I couldn't picture in my head how to make an equilateral triangle from three trapezoids, but still went with it because I was certain you could only make a trapezoid from three equilateral triangles.

I just kept trying till I found the right one :). Given trapezoid was the bottom option for modernegg, it took a while.
