  • One-way trip: $2
  • Daily pass: $15

We see that we can set up ratios. Say there are 20 weekdays in a month. Then the monthly pass is 66/20 per day, weekly pass is 29/5, daily is just 15 day, one way pass is 4 per day. We see that monthly is the cheapest option per day.

yeah.tahts right!

1 week = 5 days (weekdays only), 1 month = 4 weeks, then 1 month = 4x5 = 20 days If we calculate the expenses of 1 month: -one way trip: (2x20)+(2x20) = $80 -Daily pass: 15x20 = $300 -Weekly pass: 29x4 = $116 -Monthly pass: 66x1 = $66 then, the cheapest way is the monthly pass.

Assuming each month has 30 days, 5 weeks, then

In One-way trip, expenditure per month = $2 x 2 x 30 = $120

In daily pass, expenditure per month = $15 x 30 = $450

In weekly pass, expenditure per month = $29 x 5 = $145

In monthly pass, expenditure per month = $66

So MONTHLY PASS will be the cheapest option for him.

In a month: 2-way trip : $4 30(days) = $120 Daily pass: $15 30 = 450 Weekly pass: $29*3(weeks) = 87 Monthly pass: $66

Monthly pass<weekly pass<Daily pass<2-way trip

Per day 4$ so 20 days would cost his 80$ if he buys every day per month and 20$ for week pass so monthly pass is economical

The option will be cheapest for him is Monthly pass . Because : for 1 week ; one-way trip cost 28$ , the Daily pass will cost 105$ , Weekly pass: $29 and the Monthly pass cost 15.4$ . So the Monthly pass is the cheapest option .

He is going for the weekday and this means in a month he has to go for 20 days.So monthly pass is the best as the others are expensive

if he take monthly pass he save his money

Considering that a month is 30 days (not 29 nor 31):--

If he chose the option of [one day trip] he will pay :2 x 2 = 4 -->in day so 4 x 30 = 120 in the whole month.

if he chose the option of [daily pass] he will pay : 15 x30 =450 in the whole month.

if he chose the option of [weekly pass] he will pay : 29 x 4 =116 in the whole month.

if he chose the option of [monthly pass] he will pay : 66 in the whole month.
