Why can't we use C O 2 CO_2 to extinguish a fire caused by metals, especially metals with strong reducing agent?

A and B are correct. B. Because those metals will react with C O 2 CO_2 , creating carbon molecules, which will make the fire stronger. A. Because those metals still burns in C O 2 CO_2 . A and B are incorrect.
