The second angle in a triangle is 10° more than the first angle. The third angle is 20° more than the first angle. Find the sizes of the three angles of the triangle.

If the first one is x x then the second angle is x + 10 x\ +\ 10 and the third one is x + 20 x\ +\ 20 .

The 3 angles forms an arithmetic progression with difference=10.Since the angle sum=180°,the second angle is one third of 180°.So the angles are (60-10)°,60°,(60+10)°

Solution: 50°,60°,70°

Explanation: In this instance, we can set up an equation to demonstrate the values of the angles within this triangle. Here 'x + (x+10) + (x+20)' would equal the total of the interior angles within a triangle, which is commonly known to be 180°. Hence, we can then say that by collecting like terms, 3x+30 is equal to 180°. Here, 'x' would be solved to give 150/3 which is equal to 50°. Hence 'x', or the first angle, is equal to 50°. From this we can work out the second and third angle, by adding 10° and 20° on to the value of 'x' to give 60° and 70°.
