Triangular Numbers

A triangular number counts the objects that can form an equilateral triangle, as in the diagram above. The first triangular number is 1. More precisely Triangular numbers are numbers of the form n ( n + 1 ) 2 \frac{n(n+1)}{2} where n is a natural number.

Find the smallest triangular number which can be represented as the sum of squares of two distinct natural numbers.


The answer is 10.
