If a baseball and bat cost $110, and the bat costs $100 more than the ball, how much does the ball cost?

Let the cost of ball be x

So, the cost of bat= 100+x

100+x+x=110

2x=10

x=5

If the ball cost $5 then the cost of bat will be $105.and 105+5=110
