k 2 ( k ( 2 k ) ) 2 = k 2 ( k 2 + k ) 2 = k 2 ( 2 k 2 ) 2 = k 4 k + 4 2 = 3 k + 2 k-2(k-(2-k))-2=k-2(k-2+k)-2=k-2(2k-2)-2=k-4k+4-2=-3k+2

Distribute:

=k+(−2)(k)+(−2)(−2)+(−2)(k)+−2

=k+−2k+4+−2k+−2

Combine Like Terms :

=k+−2k+4+−2k+−2

=(k+−2k+−2k)+(4+−2)

=−3k+2

Your solution is good but it's better to work inside the innermost parenthesis first, then inside the next parenthesis. The goal here is to eliminate the parenthesis first. In your first step, you distribute immediately that's why there are many parenthesis which is very confusing.
