Assumed that every cow eat with same speed. Since 50 cows together, each cow with their 1 specified stock of grass, eat in 50 days then it implies that 1 cow eat its 1 ''specific'' stock of grass in 50 days.

In this problem, we assume that every cow have the same speed of eating. So, then we have 50 cows who eat 50 stocks of grass in 50 day. Then it means 50 cows eat 1 stocks of grass in 1 day. So, 1 cow which eat 1 stock of grass will takes 50 days

50 cows eat 50 stocks in 50 days

  • If they eat equal grass

50(days) divided by 50(cows) equals 1 stock of grass every 50 days(for each cow)

So in 50 days it will eat 1 stock

In the question you should write each cow eats in the same speed
