Try your luck

A six-sided fair dice is rolled once. What is the probability that the number rolled is an even number greater than 2?

1 2 \frac{1}{2} 1 3 \frac{1}{3} 2 3 \frac{2}{3} 1 6 \frac{1}{6}

even number greater than 2 are 4 and 6. so there is only two favourable cases out of the 6 cases. so ans=2/6=1/3

Python 2.7:

1
2
3
4
5
6
count = 0
rolls = 6.0
for roll in xrange(1, 7):
    if roll > 2 and roll % 2 == 0:
        count += 1
print "Answer:", count/rolls
