A cat was trying to chase bugs at noon. A dog was going for a walk at 6:30. Another dog was going to to the vet at 5:30. Then the cat slept for 6 hours and caught a few more bugs for half an hour. Then it went outside. The second dog got home from the vet at 6:29 and got out of the car a minute later. The cat, dog, and other dog's houses are all next to each other. How many animals will cross paths with each other?

First of all, we know that the cat was catching bugs at noon. We also know that it slept for 6 hours and caught more bugs for a hour after that. If we add those together, we get 6 1/2 hours. If we add that from noon (12:00), we get to 6:30, when the cat went outside, which is when one dog went for a walk, and the other got home from the vet. All of the animal's houses are next to each other, which means they have to run into each other. tip: try and group the information together! Like the cat info, the first dog info, and the second dog info!
