a b \frac{a}{b} = ( b + 8 ) (b + 8) and ( b + 3 ) 2 (b + 3)^{2} + ( b 2 ) (b - 2) = a a

Calculate the cube-root of 2 a 79 b 2a - 79b

I solved for b. Setting the two expressions involving b equal. b^2+8b= b^2+7b+7 gives b=7. Then I plugged in b^2+7b+7 for a in the expression 2a-79b and then I plugged in 7. This gives you -343 which when you cube root is -7
