The probability of a firer hitting the target is 0.9 and that of another 0.8.If each of them fires a bullet,what is the probability of a hit?

The probability that shooter 1 will not hit target is 0.1 and that of shooter 2 is 0.2. Hence the probability that both of them don't hit the target is 0.02.Therefore the probability that either of them hits the target is 0.98.
