I have 4 types of ice cubes each mixed with some materials. The first one was plain ice. The second was mixed with cotton. The third was mixed with sand. The fourth, with steel. I take a hammer and bang them with all my strength. Which of the four has the highest resistance from breaking?

What'd you select? Type it down here. Wanna know why that happens? Cotton, when mixed with water separates into strands of cotton. So when freeze it, it stands still! When I bang it with my hammer, it starts cracking. But the cracks must first reach the first strand and crack the whole area the strand covers. So I have to break it by cracking the boundary of each strand. So I'd rather melt it to get the strands back.
